See what life was really like in the 1800s and early 1900s! Visit the Kangaroo Valley Pioneer Village museum to be amazed by the lives of the past. Sit at a desk and be part of a voiced lesson in the Schoolroom! Marvel at the Settlers Hut, complete with bed and tools used by the working men. Check out the Dairy, where you can learn about how cheese was made; or step into the Forge, the workshop of a blacksmith. Plus many more exhibits!

Feeling active? The Museum also boasts a unique 72 metre timber suspension bridge, which leads you on a short bushwalk through the stunning reserve behind the museum. Catch views of the Kangaroo River and spot a multitude of wildlife such as kangaroos and echidnas on this loop walk. There is also the option to do a longer walk and rock hop across the stunning creeks to the secret moss gardens.

Picnic facilities and toilets are available, so stay a while and enjoy the atmosphere!
