Haycock Point to Barmouth Beach Walk
Haycock Point walk offers beach views, whale spotting and varied terrain – it’s all here on this family friendly walk! Starting from either Barmouth Beach carpark or Haycock Point picnic area, this walk follows Haycock Point, taking in stunning coast views along the way. The young ones will love the craggy rock formations, and the varied landscape including woodlands and heaths will keep them interested on this 3 kilometre (one way) walk. They may also get to see echidnas, kangaroos, goannsa and of course, whales! Entry to the Ben Boyd National Park is free. (Note this is not a loop track, so bear that in mind when planning your day, as it could take around 2 hours each way).
