Cawleys Road Trail
Where: Garawarra State Conservation Area

Cawleys Road Trail is a bushwalking trail that you could also ride your bike along! This is a 2.4 kilometre long, wide track that is surfaced with bitumen and gravel in parts (so make sure the kids are confident riding on rough surfaces before taking their bikes). The Kelly’s Falls picnic area, accessible from this track, is the perfect spot to enjoy a family picnic with its cascading waterfalls and access to other walks and lookouts. Although a short walk, it is very easy to spend the whole day here, and South Coast Kids would encourage you to do just that! Be mindful however that due to the flexibility of this trail, you may come across other walkers, bike riders and even horses, so small children should be kept close.

Getting there: The Cawleys Road trail is closest to Helensburgh. Head towards the railway bridge at the end of Wilsons Creek Road and the walk starts in the reserve on the western side of the bridge.
